Cheryl identifies key biblical principles and displays practical life lessons that can help to establish solid foundations upon which to rear happy, well rounded, productive children.

Cheryl provides insight the will assist the reader to look inside themselves for change. It will help them identify the strongholds of poverty, lack of education, and abusive relationships and help them tear them down with the help of the creator.

In the Eyes of the Children

Matthew 18:1-6:

1 About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ?Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven??

2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them.

3 Then he said, ?I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.

4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

5 ?And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.

6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea (New Living Translation)

Getting caught in the daily mundane tasks of life can cause us to overlook our children and their true value. The truth is our children were given to us not only for what we can do for them, but for what they can do for us.

Jesus reminded us of that in Matthew 18:1-6. Our children can teach us so many valuable lessons about how we should view life, humbleness, sincerity, wonder, simple faith, all of these are childlike qualities that can help us see life from a different perspective; a perspective of potential and possibility in Gods promises?

I can not wait to get my copy of this book as well. I can too relate to the trials of bing a single mother as I have three young men and young lady. Before I met and married the men (my hubby & GOD) of my dreams life was full of obstacles. Through lifes lesson and the teachings from my pastor I learned how to manage and deal with single motherhood.

God and a godly man is a must, without God we don't know how to love as we should, your story is a inspiration to single mothers out there, that there can be success and a whole family is possible, single mothers don't get me wrong many have made it without a man in the home, but because I can up in a single family home I know that there was something or should I say some one missing in our home, at any rate keep on PUSHing until God comes through for you!!! Single motherhood was a test of my unwavering faith in God. I am so glad that I made it through. I just kept on pushing on through it all, and believe me there were sometimes when I felt like giving up. But prayer changed all of that and helped me to make it through. I live in a urban neighborhood where there were many things out there that could have changed the outcome for my sons (i.e. gangs, drugs and numerous things) but with the grace and mercy I received from God my sons (ages; 20, 19 & 17) have all grown to be upstanding men in the community. My youngest son who will be graduating high school this year is a living testamony in itself. But again I say thanks be to God for all the marvelous things that he has done in my life and for his undying love and protection that he has had over my family, because if it had not been for him and his mercy I truly can say I don't know where I would be.

I too am a PK (Preacher's Kid) and it meant everything in the world to me to know that he supported me through the turbulent times. He didn't turn his back on me when I made some poor choices.

Shani it is always a blessing to know our parents are in our corner. Happy Birthday and God bless

Cheryl,
Some things are meant to be, and when I got the request about being a part of your blog tour I had no question of whether I wanted to be a part.

My father, Minister Knox, has always had my back and I love him for that. I don't think a child could ask for a better father. I too was a product of a single mother for the first eight years of my life until Carron came into our life, and I remember those vividly well, so I know your work is necessary.

May God continue to bless and guide your heart.

Carron,

It takes a special man to step up and take in a fatherless child, and I'm indebted to you for being the light in my life at times when it was dark -- and trust me I know I wasn't an easy child to deal with. You know I love you, and thanks for showing Ms. Donovan support on her Ministry of Motherhood.

Always,
Shani

Shani, you owe me nothing but love, just to know that the woman you have become is payment enough, we cry tears of pain through life, but there is none better than tears of joy when a parent gets to see their children make it and you are making it.... keep on PUSHing (praying until something happens). In His name!!! Ps.23
